With Federal, State, and local jurisdictions all making pronouncements on the matter, we can all turn to NAR for Federal guidelines, CAR for Statewide aspects, but we’re best positioned to follow the local jurisdictions efforts to reopen our economy in a safe and expeditious manner. To that end, please review the most up-to-date information that could be secured as of Friday, May 29th.

The sixteen-page document includes info from Placer County, which is moving quite quickly through the State Roadmap Stages, Nevada County and the Town of Truckee, both of which are carefully moving forward, and El Dorado County, which has been cautiously looking at which aspects of our economic and social life can safely resume. Please be aware, the information contained within this set of documents is always subject to change and updating. It’s possible for a given jurisdiction to accelerate through the four Stages as outlined by the State of California; yet if things take a turn for the worse, it’s equally possible for a given jurisdiction to reverse course and go back into a more restrictive Stage (e.g., Stage 1).

For full information on this topic, always feel free to contact the County or Town offices, or visit their websites, each of which was a section devoted to its COVID-19 status and response. CAR’s COVID microsite is also an excellent source for information and updates. For legal questions, CAR’s legal Hotline for Realtor® members is fielding questions at an unprecedented rate. As always, feel free to contact me, your regional advocate, to pose questions, suggest actions for TSBOR to consider pursuing, or to simply request more information or documentation.

Thank you for your professionalism during these extraordinarily difficult times.
