Thank you all for responding to the Truckee Tour Survey! Based on your answers the TSMLS Board of Directors decided to make the following changes to the Truckee Tour Rules:
Caravanning is now optional – All homes will be available to be viewed from 9:00AM to Noon. If there are less than 10 houses on tour, homes will be available from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM.
The Listing Agent, or their licensed assistant, must be present at the tour meeting to confirm that the property is still on tour. The Listing Agent, or their licensed assistant, may briefly highlight the unique features of the property. Only REALTORS® or their licensed assistant(s) are to pitch homes. If a Listing Agent or their licensed assistant cannot be present at the tour meeting, they should ask another REALTOR® to make comments about the property and confirm that it will be on tour. NOTE: Unlicensed Assistants cannot participate in the tour. If no one is present to represent a property at the tour meeting, THE HOME WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TOUR.
If an agent enters the home on Thursday during designated Tour hours, between 9AM and Noon, the agent is responsible for closing and locking up the home. “Leave It As You Found It” applies. If there are less than 10 houses on tour, tour hours will be 9:00AM to 11:00AM. If the home is not on lockbox, the Listing Agent, licensed assistant or licensed designee should be present during tour hours.
*On the Truckee Tour registration form, you will now be required to indicate whether the property is on Lockbox Y/N. This will also be indicated on your tour sheet.
At the last TSMLS meeting, the Board of Directors decided to make the following change to the Tahoe Tour Rules:
Property may be scheduled for Tour EVERY 6 MONTHS, with the exception of the Lakefront tours. A Lakefront property that has been on a regularly scheduled tour PRIOR to the Lakefront tour may be put on a Lakefront tour if there is availability after properties that have not been on tour are placed. Once a property has been on a Lakefront tour it cannot be toured again for 6 months.
