Recently, the number of Agents that have been notified about data in their Pending and Withdrawn listings have tripled. It is an Agent’s responsibility to make sure all listing data is accurate – including estimated closing dates and status. Missing or inaccurate data directly impacts the integrity of the reports generated for members, the media and state and national associations, directly impacting economic forecasts, public policy and the financial world at large. As a courtesy, the Board notifies members who are in violation of its’ policies – giving them an opportunity to correct the data before a fine is issued. However, if a listing is not updated within (48) hours of receiving the notice, a fine for missing or inaccurate listing data will be assessed. Questions? Refer to the TSMLS Rules and Regulations
