zipForm® 6 Standard to Require Membership Verification

It’s here! As previously announced membership verification will become and enable feature for zipForm® 6 Standard (desktop) to ensure only active REALTORS® are using it. As of Tuesday, June 19th, users will be required to connect to the internet every 90 days to check membership against NRDS.  At 45 days of non-connectivity to the internet, a message will appear inside of zipForm® 6 to the user letting them know to connect to the internet for verification. This “nag message” is on every day until they connect to the internet or hit the 90-day mark. From that point on, the user is locked out of zipForm® 6 Standard until membership can be verified with NRDS. If the user has an internet connection, membership verification is completed “behind the scenes.” No action is needed by that individual.  If the user has an internet connection but is found to be an inactive REALTOR® in NRDS, zipForm® 6 Standard will be locked and will provide notice to that user to contact their local Association to reinstate their membership.  As a reminder, those members that use zipForm® 6 Professional (online version) are already verified against NRDS each time that they log in through www.car.org.
